The challenge for Haunted Design House this time around is you are to create a dark, Gothic, or Hallowe'en
based art piece that is somehow directly and obviously inspired by
the signs of the Zodiac or Astrology.
And if you're thinking that "Astrology just isn't your thing",
check out what our awesome sponsor and fellow, gifted Minion, Teri
has to offer in her Delicious Doodles digi shop.

Personally I fall under the "just isn't my thing" category but those images are too damn cool not to use and are so versatile.
I am the worst at cardmaking and it really bums me out when I spend ages arranging and rearranging but it still looks cack. I see the other minions and their cards always looks spectacular. Chris said I should forget cards and concentrate on painting or clay and I think he might be right lmao.
This is Leo and he is a Horrorscope and can be found here.
The bits you see are supposed to be Leo's rotted skin made with masking fluid and acrylic paint and an Andy Skinner technique see sidebar for link!

Below is a watercolour I did with my girls when we were having a painting day.
We hope to see you all at the challenge and even if you don't get to participate (boo hehe) you need to go and check out Teri's images they are superb.

Oooooh !!! I think the Leo with the crispy skin just soooo rocks. Gorgeous drops and colours on the Serpent guy too. These are fabulous.
That's also a very pretty little watercolour - you can do anything/everything :-D

Who said you couldn't make cards???? Leo is STUNNING!!! Love the rotting skin...FAB!
Your ATC's are always great and this one is no different! Gorgeous colouring and cool touch with the dew drops :)
Did the kids join in making this water colour? cos if so, it looks like they're as talented as their Mum :)
Gorgeous work all round Andrea, always a pleasure to see :)
I love the Leo card! The skin reminds me of the aftermath of Hallowe'en when you peel off the liquid latex. Or bacon. It reminds me of bacon...
Fab ATC,and that watercolor is lovely. You have so much talent! I have a hard time with cards as well. Spend way too much time moving papers around and cutting stuff I don't use.
I feel your pain.
