Wild Orchid Chalenge - Autumn Colours

I managed to make a little tag using some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers for the wild orchid challenge blog, some leaves and one of my pumpkin digis. I then added some posh metallic inks to the edges of the card.

Very simple but will come in handy in October me thinks.

Anyway two brill prizes up for grabs.

HDH150 - Oh My Gourd

Well this week at Haunted Design House we are being sponsored by Funworld's Floating Pumpkin Hangers.  I knew there would be no pumpkins about at this time here so I opted to just make a project relating to a pumpkin but the others came up with some fabby stuff.

Mine was made with newclay (very rushed as I thought we were to sit it out if we weren't using a suspension kit.  I got that wrong oops.  So the paint job isn't so fab as I painted on wet newclay.  Enough of my rants anyways here is the culprit:

Well you have until sunday night to play along.

Autumn Fairy Door

Well after months of neglect of my polymer clay I decided to have a wee play the other night.  These are what I  came up with.  One is a tiny about the size of a very small tangerine autumn fairy door and the other is a brooch.

I also made some little pumpkin earrings but cannot photograph them as these photos above are ridiculously bad as well.

Haunted House Design Wacko Jacko's HDH046

Over at the Haunted House Design, the challenge is Wacko Jacko's, crazy pumpkins and what not.  I love pumpkins in fact the Smashing Pumpkins is my fave band (just thought I would throw that one in there).  Anyway I made this pumpkin for halloween last year using papier mache then painted with acrylics, I then filled it with toy rats and body bits and sweets so the kids had to put their hands in his mouth and see what they pulled out.  They all absolutely loved it, so much after they won their prizes I had to refill it to play again.  Anyway I thought this could be my Wacko Jacko entry the picture isn't great but it was all I could find.

I painted dark brown as a base then mixed some gold and orange and dabbed it with a sponge to give a stippled effect.  Again sorry for the shockingly bad pic.
