The Spooks

These are two little ghosts I painted today.  I thought Evie needed a friend so I painted Nora.  These are The Spooks and I will be painting quite a little gang as they were quite fun to paint.

Evie the Little Ghost Girl

This is Evie the little ghost girl that just wants to make some friends.  She likes to sit with children who are sad as she doesn't want them to be alone.

I did a few things for the school fundraiser, below is a carrot pin cushion.  I also made pins but stupidly forgot to photograph them before I handed the stuff in.

These are brooches I made also for the school fundraiser.

My Mum asked me to paint her a picture of a sort of abstract figure, so this is it.

Hope you are all well. x

HDH135 - Pass the Distressing

Over at Haunted Design House you are to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween-based art piece
that uses distressing of some sort. Get out your nail files, your scissor blades
and your distress inks! Your hands are really the best tools to crumple and rip,
and then spritz and sponge your way to a distressed masterpiece!

We are sponsored this week by

They have generously offered up a $15 digi shopping spree
to their online store!

This little guy is called Heebie Jeebie Kingston, how cool is he!  There are tons more amazing images at Smeared Ink, seriously brilliant. They do digis and rubber stamps.

I think the only thing distressing about my project is actually having to view it!!  My three kids have had a virus this week and to top it all off they got conjunctivitis!  To say it has been a bad week has been an understatement.  I also stupidly agreed to make some stuff for the school fundraiser....PANIC.  I also have the skull blog hop which I haven't even started on yet.

I made the brain with my melting pot after a few pointers from Black Dragon.  I also got some posh metallic inks from Ranger which I used to rub over the diecuts.

Anyways never mind my panics go over and check out the amazing stuff the DT have created and back on Wednesday for Glo's creation.

Don't forget to play cos you can't win if you don't play.

HDH134 - Long in the Tooth

This week at Haunted Design House create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween-based art piece
that shows us some chompers, teeth, fangs, dentures, etc.!
Creepy toothy grins to wind up teeth!
Luckily I had mine done early as I had a little virus at the weekend that knocked me for six (whatever that means!) and I would so not have anything done if I hadn't already prepared this one.
Anyways I chose to go for a werewolf card, seeing as the prize is a werewolf head.

The hair is from my hubby's fly tying kit.  Antrim hair I think. (?).  The sentiment says I chews you.  I actually wanted the glow in the dark eyes on the moon but I dropped the first one and it stuck and wouldn't come off without ripping so just left it there.

Anyways you need to go check out the minions and don't forget to check back on a Wednesday for Glo and possibly Teri's creations.

HDH133 - Hot as Hell in Here!

Well it is another week at Haunted Design House, therefore time for another challenge.  This week our challenge is hot as hell in here.  I chose to go with a burning witch (hubby gave me the idea).

I used acrylic paint on a canvas pad sheet.

I am totally annoyed today as Chris had got me a melting pot (ranger) for my birthday and we got it from but they sent us an American one.  Chris managed to get me a transformer for £20 so I will be able to use it but that means he paid £20 more for it, freaking annoying, could have been another few crafty things for my birthday lmao.

Anyway please find some time to pop on over to Haunted Design House and see what the minions have come up with as they have rocked this challenge and then don't forget Creepy Glowbuggs (she always produces something that knocks your socks off).

Anyway hope you all have a lovely week and my witch painting didn't freak you out too much haha.

HDH132 - Gothic Make Over

This week we have another fabulous sponsor from Saturated Canary over at Haunted Design House.  I chose the bride called Wedding Day to make over as I thought she would make a lovely gothic  bride.  I have used this for the front of my wedding album cover.

Well this is a short and sweet post.  I am freaking knackered my daughter is still gettting up during the night after starting nursery a couple of weeks ago even though she enjoys it now.  My son was also up last night so I am a quivering mess.

Anyways if you get the chance pop over cos who doesn't love a bit of saturated canary even us darker chics and the winner will receive 2 digis from saturated canary of their choice.

Smudger Challenge 2 - Tag You're It

Well this month for the Smudger Challenge Blog the challenge is to create a tag. Any type of tag at all (not much of a challenge really haha).

The prize is the digi from the tage I have used but if you use one of my images you could win a pumpkin pin cushion with a set of polymer pumpkin pins like the one pictured below.

New Digis

I have done some more digis, well actually quite a few. I have been having problems working on them cos when I scan them they go thicker lines then when I turn them in to digis they go even thicker so I lose a lot of the details, but I will eventually work it out.

I am so sorry I haven't been commenting but I have now figured out how to get the old version of blogger up with the dashboard so will be perusing the blogs probably tonight.

Anyways heres a couple of the digis that will be going in the Smudgetastic Digi Blog.
