This week at the Macab
re Monday challenge it is to create something relating to noxious toxins. I decided that what was more toxic than the family bathroom after certain little people stink it out, so I made a door hanging for the bathroom. I drew a girl with a gas mask but made her a little hat and a silly skull hair clasp to endear her to the kids. I printed out the toxic fumes on a peice of rymans card and crumpled it then used a tim holtz distress pad antique linen on it then ripped and scraped. I coloured the girl with copics and promarkers and used a gelly rol pen (think that is what they are called) to highlight a few white bits. The back that these are stuck to is a bit of cardboard with papier mache pulp added to it to make it more durable. I then beaded up a little bit of leather string with two different tones of yellow beads to hang it with.
Anyway as usual a bit long winded for what it really is. My poor little one has what my son had and she doesn't know what to do with herself she has been whinging all day and only drank one bottle of milk today and no juice or water at all. I felt so sorry for her she just kept saying Mummy Mummy then would try and headbutt me. Worry worry worry...
