HDH100 - Varying Visages of Vincent

It is Haunted Design House's 100th Challenge and we are celebrating with a little blog hop with candy along the way and the fabulous Barb is putting up a superb blog candy on the Haunted Design House blog.

You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween based art piece that is inspired by the TRUE master of the macabre... Vincent Price.  A movie, character, poem, narration, song or quote... anything that the great Vincent Price has touched can be used for inspiration.

The blog candy from the HDH blog is pictured below and you have to The rules for entering blog candy drawing:

1. Readers shall hop to each of the Macabre Minions blogs to see their take on the challenge...

readers must comment on each of the (6) posts.

2. Spread the word about the candy corn via your blog, Twitter, whatevah. Then just comment on this HDH post with a link to the announcement about it.

3. If you play along with the HDH Macabre Monday 100th challenge, you get TWO extra chances to win... just linky up and then add two more comments. We will be selecting a Gruesome Twosome like we normally do.

I tried to paint him from an image I saw on the internet and it didn't turn out like him at all so I went for him in the short story of a boy named Vincent Malloy.  Painted using acrylics:

Below was the disaster that doesn't even look anything like Vincent Price but what can you do?  You win some you LOSE some!

Now the prize that is up for grabs on this blog is the Vincent Malloy mini painting, the pumpkin brooch, the witch's hat brooch and the sterling silver, shrink plastic cat earrings.  All you have to do if you want these is leave a comment to say you want to be in with a chance to win this prize and I will announce the winner on Sunday.  Now Barb has some amazing candy up for grabs at the Haunted Design House blog so defo go check that out and I am pretty sure there are some prizes on the other design team mates blogs.

Now go check out HDH for the blog candy.

Remarkable art Andrea. You are truly talented in so many mediums and I find tons of inspiration in your work. I really like the look of the clay pieces. They look almost acrylic, they are so shiny and perfect!

Your painting of Vincent Price looks ten thousand times more realistic than my attempts. At the end, I had to draw the invisible man. But because you mentioned it I would say that the man of the painting reminds me of a merge of Vincent Price and with some features of Salvador Dali except for the moustache.
And we all know that Vincent Malloy is a huge wannabe Vincent Price. I totally love this film.
